Amargosa NV
Known to most as "Big Dune", is an area open to ohv enthusiast to enjoy. The area covers about % square miles and is filled with plenty of climbs and dips. The tallest of the climbs is a hill that climbs up to about 500 feet. These dunes which are about 100 miles northwest of Las Vegas, NV have been a welll kept secret and used by locals for many years. But with the increased use of ohv's you can expect plenty of people there on the nice weekend. Bring plenty of water if you go and remember to plan for heat.

Location: 100 miles northwest of Las Vegas on Highway 95 or located 15 miles south of Beatty, south of U.S 95.
All operators of off-highway vehicles must comply with Nevada laws and regulations when operating on public lands. All terrain vehicles (ATVs) operated on public lands must have a muffler, spark arrester and working headlights and taillights for nighttime use. Children under 16 operating off-highway vehicles must be supervised by an adult.
